Diagnosing a Legend

An assignment for one of my classes is to diagnose a fictional character; write an intake, five axis diagnosis, create a treatment plan, all of it. So I wanted to choose a movie that I owned, knew well, and could enjoy watching repeatedly. It also needed to be a character who you are given background on so that you can get a better diagnosis. Obviously, I chose The Phantom of the Opera. Even though I'm not really enjoying writing his intake...I LOVE doing the research! Love this movie/play/soundtrack/any-other-way-to-hear-it.

SPOILER ALERT: I'm about to vent so don't get upset!
This weekend is awesome and annoying. Awesome: time with my best friends!! Mel will be in town so she and I plus R's parents and HottPink are all having dinner together Saturday!! After that a couple of us will be headed to the airport (if the flight is on time) to welcome home our friends who have been doing missions in Haiti. We LOVE that place and wish we could be there, but we'll settle for letting them know we're glad they're home. Annoying: Two of the five adults in the house are leaving for the weekend. This high volume break would be nice, but no, we're adding an adult. Not that I blame her for coming or being invited, but good grief I want to live in a house with less people! I miss a bedroom, a bedroom door, freedom to shower when I feel like it, waking and sleeping on my own schedule....the list goes on. For some reason it is really getting to me this week. So in my effort not to anger the other four adults in my house, I'm telling you blogosphere. I know they may read it, but I doubt they do.

So I'm doing my best to focus on the fun time with friends and I'm hoping to get in some shopping too! And, for your veiwing pleasure, the handsome man who played the Phantom in the movie version....enjoy!
