Professional Procrastinator

I've now been in Starbucks for two hours and I've done a lot of work on one of my two assignments due in the next two days, but my brain needed a break so I thought I'd procrastinate and write a blog. Tomorrow I have a project due for my Human Sexuality class. Given the choice of a paper or presentation it seemed easy to choose presentation. This project has to be set up as curriculum for a class on sexuality. I got to pick my audience, context, content, and create the presentation to go along with it. So my audience is Christian singles in their 20s and 30s (I thought I could relate well). The curriculum will cover basic anatomy stuff, psychological effects of sexual behavior on an individual, and a Jesus aspect too. Its actually turning out to be fairly interesting...maybe I'll approach my pastor and see if I can use it..lol.
The best part of doing this in Starbucks is that every presentation needs visuals and that means I have to search for images on the web. For the anatomy portion I'm making a point that we can't help but have physical reactions to people we find attractive by using photos of People magazines most beautiful male and female in the world: Zac Efron and Jennifer Lopez. The looks I got when searching for sexy pics of those two were pretty funny! Then I searched for illustrations of anatomy with labels, also providing some interesting results and looks from the people around. To top it all off I'm wearing a shirt proudly displaying the name of my conservative Christian university. Awesome!
I should get back to work. In about an hour I'll need to leave to get ready for tonight. Hanging out with some of my favorite people tonight and then going to welcome home friends who have been in Haiti all week. Although I'm super jealous that I don't get to be there this year, I can't wait to hear stories and see pictures!! So as I leave you to get back to school, a pic of the Haiti team last year...
